Enabling multi window in Galaxy s7 edge

In Samsung devices, as we know, the multi-window can be enabled by holding the back key for a while so that a pop up screen from right appears to select the other app to use in multi-window. This feature is not available in the newer phones like Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge +, S7 edge, S7 edge, Note 7, etc.. The below steps to be followed to get the multi-window in the latest Samsung phones.

1. Press and hold the Recents key to change the current app from full screen view to split screen view.

2. Recent apps will appear at the bottom from which the second app to be opened can be selected.

3. While in the split screen view, press and hold the Recents key to close the app on the bottom.

Installing third party themes in Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 edge, etc..

Third party themes that are installed will be usable only for 5 minutes in the devices like Galaxy S7, S7 edge, etc.. Try this technique to keep the theme forever but restarting the phone will set the default theme. Redo the same steps to keep the theme forever.

1. Install the theme (Themes can be downloaded from various sources. Check the Galaxy Apps or xda forum for nice themes)
2. Check the 'Unkown sources' under Security options from Settings. This will allow installation of apks.
3. Install the app 'Package Disabler Premium' from Play Store.
4. Open the Package Disabler Premium app.
5. Search for keyword 'theme' and check the options that are displayed as shown below. This action will disable the apks related to the theme.

6. Now select each option and clear data. Select 'Samsung Themes' and clear data. Select 'Themes' and clear data. Refer the screenshots shown below.

7. Cear the Recents and you are done.

Share your comments below if you succeeded or faced any issue in following the steps.

Switch between Google Now and Google Assistant

There is a way to switch to Google now if you are not Ok with the new Google Assistant. There are some simple steps which can be done to switch between the both.

1. Go to settings
2. Go to 'Language and input' and select language.
3. Now select default language as other than English(US) to get the Google now.
4. To revert back to Google Assistant, select the default language as English(US).

As simple as that. Wait for sometime for the changes to take place. This is a temporary technique which works for now since Google Assistant is not rolled out to all the regions.
